CIMA was created in 2002 by three obstetricians who had had several years of experience caring for pregnant Latino mothers.  The physicians felt that medical services should be provided and managed by physicians and nurses not business men because the most important objective is caring not profit.  We also believe that everyone should have access to the best health care in our community regardless of language, insurance, or wealth.  We have been very fortunate to work closely with Northside Hospital-- one of the finest maternity hospitals in the United States to provide these services.  We also believe that health care should be provided in a culturally sensitive environment which respects patients language, cultural beliefs and religious preferences.  Since 1998, when we first started to help Latino women, we and our midwives have delivered over 6000 babies.  We hope to continue to grow and care for the immigrant communities of Atlanta.  Please allow us to serve you during this special time in your family's life.
